Therapy for Vegans

As much as I love living a plant-based lifestyle and creating awareness for the animal rights movement, I know that it can get difficult emotionally sometimes. Between the bacon jokes, plants have feelings too, and the dreaded ‘Where do you get your protein?’ it can be tough to stay grounded in a non-vegan world. I’ve been vegan for about 5 years now and understand the specific struggles faced by our herbivorous kind.

As a vegan therapist I can help you with:

-navigating relationships with non-vegans

-understanding & working through symptoms of vicarious trauma from witnessing animal suffering (videos, vigils, etc.)

-managing the various emotions associated with being vegan in a non-vegan world (sadness, hopelessness, frustration, anger, etc.)

-exploring the significance of self-care so you can continue to do right by our animal friends & the planet while avoiding activist burnout
