As much as I love living a plant-based lifestyle and creating awareness for the animal rights movement, I know that it can get difficult emotionally sometimes. Between the bacon jokes, plants have feelings too, and the dreaded ‘Where do you get your protein?’ it can be tough to stay grounded in a non-vegan world. I’ve been vegan for about 5 years now and understand the specific struggles faced by our herbivorous kind.
